It is my privilege to
announce a few new events in my life, one of which is co-owning a percussion
education center/drum store located at 2434 E Main St., Ventura, CA.,
and is
actually an expansion of Pulse Drumming. My partner Kim Brower and
I are expanding from 2800 to
4000 sq. feet of pure percussion! We feature state of the art private
lesson rooms, clinics, masterclasses and performance ensembles along with an
arsenal of the world's finest musician/instructors such as, Frank
Briggs, the Grammy nominated artist, master pedagogue and author of the
bestselling "Complete Guide to Modern Drumset", Jim Christie of Dwight
Yokam, Lucinda Williams, etc., Austin Wrinkle of Hands On'semble and PLOTZ,
Roland Martinez, Drum Corps. Aficionado and the DW Quality Assurance
Finish Specialist, and Darryl Johnson of Led Zepplica and founder of
Square Drums Co. We house the finest products available - Sonor, DW,
Istanbul Agop, Aquarian, Sabian, Evans, Vic Firth, Pro Mark, Xymox, Ahead, and a plethora of our favorite things
percussive. We sell the products that our instructors endorse. We are close to scheduling a
Grand Opening Gala event with guest artist performances.....details to

To have my own instructors
and friends beside me is a true blessing, more so is the gift my wife
and I are preparing for: our first child Tara Joy, due in
August.WOW...when its raining it can really deluge allsorts!
Pulse Drumming is also
fortunate to have been asked to host a local radio show devoted exclusively
to our percussive content on Wednesdays from 6-7pm on 1400 am radio in the Ventura/North
LA
County area to promote interest in education and outreach in our local
